Notes on the Influences of Indian Medicine Upon Chinese Medicine

It has been generally accepted that the Chinese medicine was greatly influenced by. The Indian medical books brought in by the Buddhist monks. But it seems that the Chinese medicine was affected by the Indian medicine only in the fields of treatment of internal ailments or in the art of meditation as seen in yoga. The highly developed surgical techniques of India evident in Susruta which is. Assumed to be published in the fifth century do not seem to have been conveyed to China.
